On December 8th, we were a part of Conder Dance’s choreography showcase, Breaking Ground. Unfortunately we were missing one of our star players, Lauren, for our piece The Rush, so Bingle had to step in. It was a wonderful show, and a great way to see what the valley has to offer in terms of new and innovative choreography. Kerry Lengel of the Arizona Republic wrote an article about the event. Check it out here. A review of the dress rehearsal for the show was also written on Cerrin Lanthrop’s personal dance criticism/ discussion blog, Moving Words. Stating there were some issues with group cohesion and spacing with our group- I would agree, only to point out that is was obviously a dress rehearsal and wish she could have reviewed the actual show where many of those elements fell into place.
